Clarksville pastor and former mayor Val Swinton is still fighting for his life on a ventilator due to COVID-19. His son Sam posted shared this update just before noon on Monday, March 30th:
Val had a coughing fit early this morning and his blood pressure dropped significantly. An x-ray revealed the inflammation in his lungs had worsened slightly. The doctors treating him are very guarded with him right now due to how fast he has deteriorated. While yesterday the oxygen on his ventilator was turned down to 55 it is now back up to 100 which is survival mode.
The family is asking for more prayers.
