A North Butler Elementary student has won a prize for a cabbage she grew. Third grader Yamilet Montalvo grew the cabbage to just over 24 pounds. In doing so she was selected as the winner of the National Bonnie Plants Cabbage Program. She will receive a $1000 savings bond for her gardening achievement.
