The Black Hawk County Supervisors did not pass a county wide mask mandate Tuesday, according to KWWL. County Supervisor Chair Chris Schwartz supported the mandate but it failed due to a lack of a second motion. Dan Trelka was one supervisor that did not support the mandate saying he thought it would add to the confusion of COVID-19 rules. He did say he supports businesses and cities decisions to put mask mandates into place. Waterloo and Cedar Falls both have city wide mask mandates currently in place.
