A fire in Cedar Falls caused damage to a condominium Saturday night. Fire rescue was called to 3708 Eastpark Road shortly before 9pm Saturday. There they found nine attached homes with smoke coming from the rear of one. The fire had spread from from the fireplace inside the home. Crews were able to contain the fire to the fireplace shaft and then extinguish the flames. No injuries were reported associated with the fire. It is unclear exactly how much damage was done.
