A Charles City man has been arrested after police say he violently attacked another man, according to KIMT. 36 year old Kristopher Viers allegedly approached a man while he sat in his truck at his home about a flashlight the man had borrowed from Viers. Viers pulled the man from his truck and began punching him in the head. Viers then choked the man until he was rendered unconscious, at which point Viers took the man’s truck keys and left the scene. He was arrested on Tuesday and charged with 1st degree burglary and 3rd degree robbery.
