A Waterloo man led Sheriff’s deputies on a chase through residential yards early Monday morning, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. A deputy attempted to pull over a Dodge Ram in the area of West Donald and Cloverdale Avenues for a suspended driver around 2:15am. The driver, however, failed to stop. The chase reached speeds of 60mph in a 25 mph zone. Eventually the driver, identified as 44 year old Dante Hunter came to a stop at the dead end of Helmet Street. He then tried to flee on foot before being captured. He has been charged with eluding, interference and driving while suspended.
