Thursday on Y99.3 the Don Bosco baseball team punched its ticket to the Class 1A Title game as they beat Kingsley-Pierson 9-1. The Dons will play Mason City Newman Saturday at 10:15 for the title on Y99.3. Newman beat Remsen St. Mary’s 2-0 in 9 innings.
In Class 2A Van Meter beat West Lyon 3-1 and Des Moines Christian edged North Linn 4-2 in 8 innings to set up the 2A championship matchup.
