Wednesday at the State Duals Tournament the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks finished in 2nd place in Class 3A behind Southeast Polk. The Go-Hawks dominated their way to the finals before falling 29-26 to Southeast Polk in a nip-tuck championship dual.
Don Bosco finished 2nd in Class 1A as Lisbon won 36-30 over the Dons in the finals. The Denver Cyclones finished in 6th place.
The Traditional State Tournament begins at 9:00 Thursday morning on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3 and runs through Saturday.
