Thursday afternoon at approximately 12:57 PM, Cedar Falls Officers responded to the area of Greenhill Road and Sager Avenue for a motor vehicle accident. Officers arrived on scene and found two vehicles which had been involved in a head on collision. A passenger in vehicle #1 was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of vehicle #1 had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported to an area hospital. The driver of vehicle #2 was also taken to an area hospital. The initial investigation indicates that vehicle #1 was traveling Eastbound on Greenhill Road and Vehicle #2 was traveling Westbound. The names of the people involved are being withheld at this time pending family notification.
