The latest coronavirus numbers from the state say that 178,531 individuals in the state have been tested to this point. 20,943 have tested positive. Of those, 12,436 have now recovered. 589 Iowans have died from the virus. Locally, Bremer County has had 71 cases but 61 have recovered. Butler County has had 16 with 12 recoveries. Floyd County has had 19 cases and 16 recoveries. Chickasaw County has had 13 cases and 8 recoveries. Fayette County has had 28 cases and 26 recoveries. Buchanan County has had 33 cases and 28 recoveries. Black Hawk County is reporting 2022 cases and 48 deaths. Officially 1,026 have recovered.
