Fundraising to Reopen Hickory House Following Fire

An account has been created to help a popular Waterloo restaurant rebuild after a fire, according to KWWL. An account at Community Bank & Trust with the name Friends of Hickory House was created by loyal and long time customers of Hickory House. The restaurant went up in flames on the morning of Sunday, October 30th, just days after they celebrated their 70th anniversary in business in Waterloo. Anyone who would like to make a donation can stop by any Community Bank & Trust branch or they can mail a donation to the bank. Checks should be made payable to Friends of Hickory House.
