COVID-19 has made Homecoming 2020 different at Waverly-Shell Rock. There is no dance this year but there are a few activities still able to happen. Thursday evening at 7:30 in Go-Hawk Stadium the king and queen will be crowned and Friday afternoon at 4:00 a student organized parade will be held.
Senior Carly Steiert explains how this event came to be.
The parade will begin at the intersection of 16th St and 5th Ave SW and will turn down 4th Ave SW and end in the high school parking lot.
