This year, Waverly is hosting the 2016 Iowa Celiac Conference. The event will be held at The Centre Hall on Saturday, September 24th.
People with celiac disease can have serious reactions to gluten, which is found in wheat products. When people are diagnosed, it can be hard to know where to shop and what to eat.
At the conference attendees will learn about how support groups can help. Presentations will be given by a Mayo Clinic doctor along with a dietitian, pharmacist and a panel of mothers and daughters with celiac.
