A juvenile showed up to MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center with a gunshot wound on Sunday afternoon, according to KWWL. The juvenile’s injuries were not believed to be life threatening. After talking with the victim, the police investigation turned to the 700 block of West 1st Street. Police received conflicting information from potential witnesses in that area regarding the shooting. The investigation into the shooting remains open at this time. This incident is not thought to be related to a shooting on Saturday morning on West 4th Street where one person was killed and 12 others were injured.
