Thursday on Y99.3 in the 8-Man football semifinals the Fremont-Mills Knights edged the Don Bosco Dons 32-30. The top-ranked Dons finished the season with a 9-1 record. Fremont-Mills advances to play Remsen St. Mary’s who outscored Montezuma 108-94 yesterday in the highest scoring high school playoff game ever.
In the Class 3A semifinals Thursday: Harlan blasted Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley 44-7 and North Scott edged Xavier 17-10 in overtime.
Friday action in Classes A and 4A will take place, while 1A and 2A have their semifinals Saturday.
