Cedar Falls Police have arrested a man accused of sexually abusing a minor. Police began an investigation of 29 year old Samuel Adkisson after they were made aware of alleged ongoing abuse of the child. That investigation led to Adkisson’s arrest. He has been charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child and 2nd degree sexual abuse. Adkisson faces up to 50 years in prison if found guilty on both charges. It is unclear how he knew the minor. The Iowa Department of Human Services and the Allen Child Protection Center assisted Cedar Falls Police in the case.
