Man Threatened to Kill Disabled Stepdaughter

A Waterloo man has been arrested after threatening to kill his disable adult stepdaughter, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police say that 40 year old Edward Walker Jr. told his stepdaughter he was going to shoot her after an argument shortly before midnight on April 3rd. Walker then retrieved a shotgun from a closet and began loading it. Walker’s wife intervened and a struggle over the weapon ensued. When officers arrived they found Walker in an upstairs bathroom. As they approached him, a shell casing fell from his person. He was arrested for aggravated domestic assault and assault while displaying a weapon. He has since been released on bond pending trial.
