Waterloo officially has a new Fire Chief, according to KWWL. William Beck was sworn in Tuesday afternoon. Beck takes over for Pat Treloar who retired at the end of last year. Beck has been with the Waterloo Fire Department since 2004 and has served in multiple positions during that time. Beck is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Fire Executive Leadership with a focus on Public Administration from Columbia Southern University.
