The Cedar Falls Public Safety Department has released the following statement regarding a recent shooting:
On 01/20/21, at around 2218 hours, Cedar Falls Public Safety Department personnel were dispatched to the area of the 2400 block of Olive St for a shooting that had just occurred. Officers located one victim who was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. It is believed that this is an isolated incident and the general public is not in danger.
