Pastor Swinton Continues His Fight

Clarksville pastor and former mayor Val Swinton is on a ventilator fighting for his life against the COVID-19 virus.

Here is the latest update from his family on his condition as of Sunday afternoon. His ventilation machine was on survival support mode and has now been moved to standard support. He has been taken off the paralytic agent in hopes of waking his brain. His blood pressure is running very low. And his oxygen saturation level has risen to the 90s and his brain activity is increasing.

This all came after his son Sam said things looked very grim that morning.

The family says they appreciate the outpouring of prayers and support.
