Clarksville pastor and former mayor Val Swinton is still fighting for his life on a ventilator due to COVID-19. His son Sam posted shared this update just after noon on Tuesday, March 31st
Val was struggling to maintain oxygen and pump blood until the hospital put him back on the paralytic to stabilize him. After this change he was able to retain 97% of the oxygen given to him and his heart rate and blood pressure is much improved.
The family recognizes that Pastor Swinton is fighting a tough fight and they expressed thankfulness for even the small wins.
