Thursday in the first round of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament the UNI men topped Illinois State 65-60. Former Go-Hawk Austin Phyfe led all scorers with 21 points and 9 rebounds in the win.
Phyfe was also named a 1st Team Scholar Athlete for the second straight year Thursday.
