UPDATE: Both suspects have been caught as of 5:43.
The search is on for two people suspected in a an officer-involved shooting in Galena, Illinois. According to the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened at a hotel east of Galena. They report the two suspects are wanted by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office in California on felony warrants for assault. The suspects were last seen near Highway 20 and Gear Street in Galena. At that time they did not have a car. Andrew Cummings is 27 years old, approximately 6′ feet tall, and weighs about 180 pounds, He has black hair and hazel eyes. Crystal McLaughlin is 32, 5’07’, and weighs 145 pounds. She has red hair and brown eyes.
The sheriff’s office says both are “armed and dangerous.”
