Tuesday night on Y99.3 the Go-Hawk softball team fell 5-2 to New Hampton despite playing much better.
Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team swept Crestwood to stay unbeaten in Northeast Iowa Conference play. In Game One the Go-Hawks came from behind to win 11-9. In Game Two the Go-Hawks won 16-6 behind 16 hits.
Tuesday night in area baseball: Don Bosco edged Dyersville Beckman 10-9, Dike-New Hartford blanked Aplington-Parkersburg 6-0, Wapsie Valley outpaced Sumner-Fredericksburg 13-4, Nashua-Plainfield clipped Osage 3-1 and Columbus walked off to beat Union.
Tuesday night in high school softball: Kori Wedeking got her 100th career win as Clarksville beat Central Springs 9-2, Dike-New Hartford crushed Aplington-Parkersburg 11-1, Columbus beat Union 11-1, Osage topped Nashua-Plainfield 7-2.
