Monday night on KWAY Country the Go-Hawk girls beat Benton Community 56-35. It was an historic night as Abbie Draper needed just six points to tie Aftin Phyfe’s school record for career points scored. Draper netted 22 points and now has 1,106 points and counting. She will be presented with Monday night’s game ball by Aftin Phyfe before Tuesday’s game in Waverly.

Monday night in boys basketball: Janesville hammered GMG 81-56, Tripoli topped Rockford 53-47 and Gladbrook-Reinbeck beat Sumner-Fredericksburg 40-30.
