Sex Offender Captured

A sex offender who escaped from a work release program and spent several months on the lam has been captured, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 35 year old Zachary Davis was found on Camelot Drive in Waterloo on Saturday. He has now been charged with Escape and Violation of the Sex Offender Registry. Davis was convicted in 2007 of Lascivious Acts on a Child and has previous convictions for failing to register. He removed his GPS tracking device on April 2nd and ran from the Waterloo Residential Correctional Facility.
