Sunday at the final day of the Hillenbrand Invitational the UNI softball team fell to the 2nd ranked Oklahoma Sooners 8-0. Sunday in college wrestling UNI and Iowa State both picked up upset wins, but the Cyclones came from behind to earn an 18-16 win over the Panthers at Hilton Coliseum.

Wednesday night the Waverly-Shell Rock wrestling team dominated Western Dubuque 79-0 to advance to the Class 3A State Duals. State Duals will take place on Wednesday the 19th with the pairings to be released soon. Denver and Don Bosco also qualified in their class.
