A Sumner woman has been charged with serious injury by vehicle after a crash in September, according to KIMT. 31 year old Melissa Nickerson struck the back of a vehicle driven by Jeffrey Bloom back on September 17th in the 3400 block of 140th Street. As a result of the crash, Bloom was paralyzed from the chest down. An investigation of Nickerson’s cell phone at the time of the crash found that she had been having a conversation on Facebook messenger.
