Sunday the UNI women beat Indiana State 73-43 at the McLeod Center. The Panther defense dominated form the opening tip allowing just 13 points in the first half while building a 31-13 lead the break. UNI is now 11-5 on the year.
Sunday UNI Wrestling won seven bouts and earned bonus points at 174, 184 and 124 to earn a 28-12 win over Air Force in Colorado. Former Go-Hawk Bryce Steiert picked up a major decision and Taylor Lujan and Jay Schwarm grabbed pins in the bout to lead UNI to the win.
