The Waverly-Shell Rock girls soccer team advanced in the State Tournament Thursday. Sarah Campbell and Natalie Langan scored goals in the Go-Hawk’s 2-0 victory over North Scott. With the win Waverly-Shell Rock moves on to the State Semi-finals Friday at 2:30 where they’ll face Lewis Central who won 5-0 over Winterset yesterday. Also, in State Tournament Soccer Thursday Waterloo Columbus beat Center Point-Urbana 1-0 in a shootout to advance to the State Semi-finals.
