Monday night in the Sub-State Quarterfinals of Class 3A it was Waverly-Shell Rock beating Dubuque Wahlert 61-56. The Go-Hawks got 14 points a piece from Cole Marsh, Asa Newsom and Caleb Burks and Hogan Hansen added 12 in the win. Waverly-Shell Rock will travel to play Western Dubuque Thursday at 7:00 on KWAY Country for a District Championship.
In other District Basketball Monday night Iowa City High clipped Waterloo East 56-54 to end the Trojan’s season and Waterloo West beat Cedar Rapids Jefferson 79-51 to advance.
