Several Wartburg athletes were honored as American Rivers Conference athletes of the week. Soccer player Kate Luers was named Female Athlete of the Week. Joe Freiburger was male runner of the week while Carina Collet won that honor for the women. Waverly native Sarah Campbell was defensive soccer player of the week and Katie Foster won that distinction for the volleyball team.
