Waterloo has announced its plan for their 4th of July fireworks celebration. The celebration will not include a main event venue, bands, or vendors due to COVID-19. Those wishing to watch the fireworks show are encouraged to find parking in the vicinity of the KOA Camp Ground and Lost Island Water Park. The pyrotechnics crew says the display will not be visible from Hawkeye Community College due to the contours of the terrain. The show is expected to begin at 10:00 p.m. on the 4th.
