A Waterloo man has been arrested after allegedly stealing a trailer with three snowmobiles inside from a business in Cedar Falls, according to KWWL. The trailer and snowmobiles were reported missing on March 20th. Police then received a tip that the trailer was in Denver. A search warrant at that location found the trailer but not the snowmobiles. Those were later located in Waterloo. Another trailer that had also been reported stolen was found at that location. Shayne Fluhr has been charged with 1st Degree Theft and 5th Degree Criminal Mischief for the theft out of Cedar Falls. He also has the same charges related to the theft of the other trailer, which was out of Hudson. The trailer and snowmobiles from Cedar Falls were valued at approximately $42,000.
