Wear Orange for Hunger

Taking action to stop hunger.

48,000 Northeast Iowans go hungry — according to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. This month, they’re highlighting ways to change that. Thursday, September 8, The Northeast Iowa Food Bank is asking people to wear orange in honor of Hunger Action Month. They say orange is the color that represents “hunger.” Wearing orange is just one way you can help.

The food bank has a full calendar listing 30 different ways you can take action to end hunger during each day of September.
