The Waverly Health Center is currently immunizing its employees with the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Once health care workers and those in long term care facilities get their shots, other essential workers and those over 75 will be able to receive it.
Waverly Health Center pharmacist Alicia Jahnke shares the effectiveness of the Moderna vaccine.
Jahnke also said there is no charge for the vaccine and the hospital will ask people to be flexible with when they get the shot because the vaccine needs to be distributed in a timely manner once the packaging is opened.
