One woman is taken to the hospital after totaling her vehicle Thursday. Authorities responding to the single-vehicle accident near the 199 mile marker on Highway 218.
They say 63-year-old Marsha Corwin, of Waterloo, lost control of her car due to a medical issue, and crashed into cable barriers. Traffic in the northbound lanes was shutdown for about an hour and a half.
Corwin was later released after treatment.
