The all-time leader in volleyball match wins, EaVon Woodin, announced her retirement this morning on The Breakfast Club.
After 42 years of coaching, the last 34 at Waverly-Shell Rock after starting at Pocahontas from 1978-85, Woodin shared why she’s hanging up her whistle now.
Woodin retires as the all time leader in match wins (1,214), a 3 time state coach of the year, 2008 National Coach of the Year, with 23 Northeast Iowa Conference championships and 2 State Championships.
