Panthers Go Back-to-Back with Sam Reinhart’s Historic Four-Goal Stanley Cup Final Performance

The Florida Panthers have claimed the Stanley Cup once again — and this time, they did it in dominating fashion.
With a blistering four-goal performance from Sam Reinhart, the Panthers rolled past the Edmonton Oilers 5-1 in Game 6 on Tuesday night at Amerant Bank Arena, sealing their second straight championship and cementing their place in NHL history.
Reinhart wasted no time, putting Florida on the board just five minutes into the game with an off-balance goal. Matthew Tkachuk added another late in the first period, setting the tone for a night of relentless offense. By the third period, Reinhart had notched the franchise’s first-ever playoff hat trick and added a fourth goal for good measure — becoming only the sixth player in NHL history to score four in a Stanley Cup Final game, and the first since 1957.
Sam Bennett, who led the Panthers with 15 postseason goals, took home the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP.
Florida becomes the first team since the Lightning in 2020-2021 to win back-to-back Cups, while Canada’s championship drought continues for a 32nd year.
