The Waverly Police Department has announced on their Facebook page that Monday morning they located a body floating in the Cedar River. The body is that of a male and was found north of the Bremer Avenue dam. The man has been identified but his name will not be released until all notifications can be made. The body has been transported to the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s Office for further investigation.
