The City of Waverly had planned to close Kids Kingdom park next to the pool Thursday and Friday. However, the staining project has been postponed due to the rain. A new date for the project has not yet been announced.

The victim of an early Sunday morning shooting in Waterloo has been identified, according to KWWL. 26 year old Ana Berinobis-McLemore was found in an abandoned car in the 200 block of Manson Street, suffering from a gunshot wound. Cedar Lane Reconstruction Begins Soon

Reconstruction of the north portion of Cedar Lane in Waverly is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 31st. Traffic will be closed to through traffic from Horton Road to Brown Lane for the duration of the project. Brown Lane will remain open during this project.
