Historic Season for S-F-T
Thursday night on Y99.3 the Sumner-Fredericksburg-Tripoli baseball team fell to New Hampton 7-3 in the State Semifinals. The Cougars finished with a 24-5 record and their first ever trip to the State Semifinals.

Tuesday in the State Softball consolations Prairie City-Monroe beat Sumner-Fredericksburg-Tripoli 3-1. With the loss the Cougars finish in a tie for 7th in the State. Charles City Joins NCC
The Charles City school district will officially join the North Central Conference in the 2025-26 school year. For the first two years the Comets will not be a full participant in volleyball, basketball, softball and baseball, meaning they will not be able to win a confernce championship in those sports those years.
