Tuesday at 5:35 Cedar Falls Police were called to 2303 Main St. for a 7 year old who was missing. When officers arrived at the residence they were advised by the reporting party that their 7 year daughter was missing. According to the child’s parents, she had not been seen for 45 minutes. Parents advised they had searched the residence, the surrounding area, and the garage. Officers also searched the home and were unable to locate her. At that point officers started an extensive search of the area. At 7:31 the child was located close to home.
The Cedar Falls Police were assisted by the Cedar Falls Fire Division, Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office, The Waterloo Police Department, The Iowa State Patrol, The University of Northern Iowa Police, Evansdale Police, and Mercy One Paramedics.
