A volunteer committee is planning and raising funds to replace the Shell Rock swimming pool, which was built in 1975 and is becoming costly to maintain.
Committee Co-chair Casey Reints tells us what kind of changes they’re looking to make and how much they’ll need to raise to make it happen:
The committee has raised over $14,400 towards the project. The Shell Rock Trust has also committed to match all private donations raised up to $325,000. For more information visit the SR Diving for Dollars facebook page.
