Tobacco Compliance Violations

The Cedar Falls Investigative unit along with the Iowa Alcohol Beverage Division conducted tobacco compliance checks at 38 businesses in Cedar Falls recently. The checks consisted of underage customers, under the supervision of law enforcement officials, attempting to purchase tobacco, alternative nicotine, or vapor products resulting in seven violations. 51 year old Kathryn DeBeer at KingStar Convenience, 22 year old Bryan Catalan at the Landmark, 19 year old Logan Stoll at the Music Station, 53 year old Ghulam Qureshi at the Great Wall of China, 42 year old Tammy Lewis at Bani’s Liquor and Tobacco, 26 year old Teddi Nielson at the Hill Street News and Tobacco, and 27 year old Kyle Williams at the Prime Mart were all cited for their offenses.
