A shooting on College Hill in Cedar Falls has claimed the life of one and sent another to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics with life threatening injuries. Police were called to the area of College Street and West 22nd Street just before 2am yesterday. When police arrived they found a male with life threatening injuries. That person was taken to Allen Hospital. Minutes later two people showed up to Sartori Hospital with gunshot wounds, one of those had life threatening injuries. One person was treated and released while another person died and the third was taken to Iowa City. Two subjects have been arrested. 24 year old Daniel Judon and 25 year old Brandon Mitchell, both of Mason City, have been charged with Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon. Mitchell has also been charged with Control of a Firearm by a Felon and Attempted Murder. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
