Oelwein Police arrested 11 students on drugs charges last Friday. Initial reports indicated the students were showing signs of being under the influence of a substance. Three 13 year old girls and three 14 year old girls were all charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance- THC Vape- and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Five 14 year old boys were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance- Marijuana- and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. All 11 students were released to their guardians and their cases were referred to Juvenile Court.
