The Coronavirus figures for the state of Iowa have been updated Wednesday. 110.213 Iowans have been tested and 15,534 have tested positive and those numbers have been trending down since May 6th. The death toll in the state has risen to 383 and those numbers have been trending down since Friday. 8,236 Iowans who tested positive have now recovered from the virus.
Locally Bremer County has a total of 65 and 53 of those have recovered while 5 have died, Butler County has 14 cases and 12 of those have recovered, Chickasaw County has 8 and 6 of them have recovered, Fayette County has 25 cases and 24 of them have recovered, and Floyd County has 1 death and 11 cases and only 3 of them have recovered according to the Iowa Department of Public Health. Black Hawk County Health Department reports 1,862 total cases and 34 deaths. The state says 905 in Black Hawk County have recovered.
