Police in Independence arrested a 15 year old after the teenager led them on a chase, according to KWWL. Police attempted to pull the teen over for an equipment violation but the teen refused to stop. During the chase the teen allegedly went through stop signs, was speeding, and drove through private property. Once the car was finally stopped the driver and a juvenile passenger were detained. The driver has been charged with Eluding, Criminal Mischief, Reckless Driving, and Careless Driving. No injuries were reported in the chase.
