A 19 year old Waterloo man has been arrested for allegedly threatening a woman with a gun, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Waterloo Police were called to a Downing Court home at around 1:15 p.m. Friday after a woman confronted Corterrio Sallay about how he had treated her daughter. Sallay allegedly pulled out a handgun and threatened the woman. The woman then called police. Sallay left the premises with the gun, crossing the Fred Becker Elementary School parking lot with the gun before he allegedly tossed it in a yard of a home on Flower Street. Sallay has been charged with Assault While Displaying a Weapon, Carrying a Weapon on School Grounds, and third degree Theft.
